Today is the 11th aniversary of the death of my father, James Ray Perry. It is interesting that Mom died so close to the aniversary of his death.

I woke up thinking about my long-suffering grandmother today. She taught me what basic domestic things and manners I know. She also often told me family stories that gave me insight into some of the culture of my clan.
